its a bit early since neither has come out yet, did you read one of nostradamis quatrains? we will have a better idea 2 years from now to see if sony can keep momentum going or if there will be a shift, who knows at this point. i know i want both xbo and ps4.

nintendo isnt a consideration until its a reasonable price. sorry fanboys.

Yeah, having the cheapest console and free online is way too expensive and unreasonable.

Cheapest console with BY FAR the weakest hardware, and free online with BY FAR the worst structure and least features

reminds you of a certain handheld with 3D in the nldntame doesn't it? gee that thing must be failing hard. rofl. keep up the damage control.

I'll give you an A for a strawman, but you still shouldnt pretend as if Nintendo has the same type of competition in both handheld and console markets. And Nice job ignoring the different 3rd party support. Plus, 3DS and U are like comparing GameCube and GBA.

Also, i wouldnt say 3DS is failing hard, but i also wouldnt say that outselling 7 year old more expensive console by 30-40k per week is a massive success. Add that to the fact its lagging behind both DS and GBA. And I cant confirm this, but im pretty sure it lags behind orginal GameBoy as well.

We dont have full 2013 numbers but with Pokemon, Monster Hunter 4, Zelda, Mario Party and 2DS this holiday its totallly possible to match GBA 2003 sales

Yeah, but when? That's the problem. If we were talking a couple months--and I really hope(wish) we were-- I'd agree with u; but, the common thought is that it will be 6mos or more before ps4 sees Titanfall, and that's just too much time for this to NOT make a difference for XBO. Like I said, Sony is crazy if they're not doing everything in their power right now to get Titanfall on ps4 as soon as possible relative to the XBO version release date.

I agree but for me personally I do not mind the 6 month wait. With PS+ and other new releases my backlog right now is massive. I am like 80 plus games behind, I mean it is so big I have not bought the Last of US, Tomb Raider, Tales of Xillia, or much of anything lately.

I have not beat Uncharted 3 yet and I know I am not the only one with a huge backlog.

I stand corrected then :)

All the stars are aligned for PS4. It wins Japan and Europe by default and so far its winning in NA. If things go well enough it might outsell WiiU+Xbone combined.

With all the recent announcements with the WiiU, I wouldn't count on that prediction being true. :)

Estelle and Adol... best characters ever! XD

Worldwide? Yes. But in North America, my money's still on X-One. The PS4 has higher pre-orders, and it will likely sell better in the first year. But the inevitable launch of Halo 5 in fall 2014 will be the game changer in that region.

P.S. Does anyone know the current pre-orders for PS4 and X-One in the UK?

No one game will have that type of effect.

I'm not saying that the week of Halo 5's launch will be the week that X-One overtakes PS4. It will still take a long time for X-One to do that. What I'm saying is that Halo 5's release will be when X-One starts outselling PS4 on a weekly basis in North America, even if it's only by a small margin.
