From what people were saying, the destruction in The Order:1886 sounds awesome. 

A lot of early gen new IP's seem to "stick" throughout the entire generation (Assassins Creed, Uncharted, Gears of War, Saints Row, etc) so hopefully The Order is good enough that Sony can turn it into another blockbuster franchise.

It's difficult to say right now. I will give Ready At Dawn the benefit of the doubt and say that it certainly won't suck. That studio is made up of guys who use to work at Naughty Dog and Blizzard years ago. They have already proven they can make great games on handhelds. I'm excited to see what they can do with a platform that has far fewer restrictions. Based on what we've heard about the stuff they showed off at Gamescom, they are definitely working on something that will be technically impressive. Possibly among the best looking games of its time overall. However, until they show me actual gameplay footage and I can get a good idea of where the game is heading I can't say with any real confidence that it will be a big success. Though they are planning on this being a franchise already so it may be something they and Sony are very confident about.

Considering how long the team has had to work on it, I'm expecting something really special.

Am I the only one that has faith in Ready at Dawn that they will deliver on their promise that the trailer that was shown is what gameplay will look like?

Guess I'm just highly optimistic.

Based off the brief/non-gameplay video, i speculate itll be somehwere between moderate hit and flop. I hope I'm wrong, tho. And regardless, there's truly no way to tell with even an ounce of certainty with the little info we know/have seen at this point.

I could see 2.5-3m lifetime. I think it'll be like KZ this gen and get its followers but not bust into the 5m range. I also think it'll be top quality and earn a place in my permanent PS4 library.
