We dont know much about this game since gameplay has not yet been shown. All we can do is speculate.... and since a lot of us are in "Countdown to PS4" mode, why not speculate and discuss our expectations for this promising game? Here are some of my expectations.......
4 person Co-op
Third-Person shooter
Cinematic gameplay experience and top notch voice acting like Uncharted and God of War
Arguably the best console graphics at the time it comes out
An incredible engine that rivals Frostbite (with destruction, high end special effects like smoke, and realistic materials)
Multiplayer. It worked in Uncharted and The Last of Us. I personally prefer 3rd person shooters to FPS.
A bit of survival horror. Left4Dead style, but in 3rd person.
I think The Order could fill in a much needed niche for PlayStation fans that want a full co-op experience. From the looks of the short trailer we saw, it appears that you work in a team of 3-4. The creative guns and "alternate history" setting could be very appealing to Resistance fans.
RAD is a great developer and this is their first real chance at making a splash on consoles. They will most likely be releasing during a perfect time (mid 2014) when PS4 will have a healthy user base, and owners will be looking for fresh new games.
What are your expectations for this game? I expect the 3rd person view and final product will be very similar to this concept art....
