Smells Kinda Bad

sniff Sniff Sniff Sniff

Its B.S.

LOL

So cable providers are just going to give away huge bandwidth to anyone who buys a PS4 in the UK. So they will give away millions in lost revenue just to make Sony Happy. Or is Sony, who is bleeding cash still, just going to pay for everyone's montly cable bill...

Oh yes...can uuuuuu smell it!

I agree this sounds a little incredulous, but be respectful in how you convey your messages, please.

Turkey is not included.

UK, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy.

I wanted some service like that here in Brasil too.

Me too. But deep inside me I know this is never happening here.

We have just to wait until 2020, 2025, 2030... at this time the games will need 1Gbps connections lol

Seriuos... I use NET Virtua here (the highest plan) and everything time the people get from work (~7 pm) the internet get worst... at weekend this happens too... seeems like the infrastructure didn't support the number of users near to me using the broadband.

The best time to use my internet is at the combo weekends + holidays because everyboby travels lol (.

Where did you even hear of this OP? Could you give a link or tell what time in a video? It doesn't seem like anyone else has heard of this before this thread.

Interesting, it sounded to me like you buy a sort PS4 specific plan of sorts from the providers to gain access to speeds that would Gakai completely functional even at higher resolutions. That makes it a lot more believable/understandable now.

That's really good... a internet provider just focused in PS4 will be Amazing here.... no more lag because everybody else is downloading the new Game of Thrones episode in my neighborhood.

Just wait until FIFA.  You'll wish for the good ol' day of just your neighbors hogging up your bandwidth. :D

If such a thing happens, I'm guessing Gaikai will be a great experience or no?

I believe (not positive though) that playing games via stream has more to do with how close you are to the place you're streaming it from. That's how onlive works. You can have a fast connection, but if you live too far from the server, you're not going to have a good experience.

If any of you actually watched the conference you'd have your confirmation right there, it was apart of the presentation

Good news for the Europeans BUT it sounded like a package deal. Meaning it might cost more than your normal broadband connection.

Its a package deal, upping your bandwidth and giving ps4 priority over anything else. So your sure to have the best connection possible in your area. I doubt it would apply to everyone in Europe, because thats impossible. And sony is getting into providing broadband, they are doing it in japan now and offer the fastest speeds.
