Hahahajaha sorry but maybe I watched some other conference because all I heard was was: indie indie indie indie indie indie. The conference was horrible. No one won gamescom in my opinion.

Maybe PC gamers that will get the best of battlefield 4 and titanfall.

There are a discussion here because most of games are first-paty... I have my own definition (most of games are indie devs with fist-party focus) but most guys here disagree.

Just to add to your idea a little.  I thinkthat most of these indie companies will go multiplat with most of their games.  Unless M$ or Sony funded the particular game in some way anyway.  The reality is that many of the indie games will probably also make it to PC because of how simple it is with both the PS4/XBOne's x86 architecture. Even some of the developers(excluding first party of course) that initially launch a game on either the XBOne or the PS4 might bring the game to the other system within a year as the cost to port will be minimal.  A lot of them just don't have the funds to make it a go on both platforms right off.  But if the game has any level of success, they will want to port it right away.

It's incredible how some gaming "journalists" are bought these days without even getting money from the company they blatantly love to death in their articles. No wonder the term fanboyism is almost exclusive to the gaming industry.

The journalist, Mark Walton, also wrote this lovely piece trashing the PS Vita:

Man, what a Sony fanboy!

Well there a lot of talk about but most of games showed can't go to PC either... so because that I said indie devs with first-party focus... Rime for example.

I don't think that it was bad at all.  I just don't let "the show" sway me when watching these things.  The chair and the begining of it was a gimmick that was scripted to grab peoples attention.   Any good marketing person knows that a sales presntation has to start with a hook to get your buyer to focus in on your product and believe that you are an expert aboout it.  He did an exceptional job and it worked.  I have a lot of sales experience both in direct person to person and group presentations.  It's hard or me to get sucked into these kinds of things.

Sorry, I think I misinterpreted one of your posts and over-reacted.  Sorry about that.

No, my first post kind of had a few jabs at the Gamespot article.  The article was very pro-sony, so it is easy to assume that i dislike Sony because of my hating on the article.

I have no idea, but what is the reason they can't go to PC?

I have to check every game but...

Rime because it is first-paty "Tequila Works’ next game, RiME, will be published with Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios Europe as a First Party PS4 exclusive!"

Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture because Sony funded the game... read more here.

ResoGun is first-paty (I'm not sure about that one but Super Stardust HD never get a version outside PlayStation).

I need to check the others titles.

Oh, i thought there was a technical reason - as in programming and such.  You never know, maybe Sony will allow them to go to PC if they get a cut of the $$$ and they wait til they have been on the PS4 for a while.

Tsk, tsk, your link is so 2012. You have to go with the times like Mark does, he now loves everything Sony. And yes, even the Vita. Let me quote parts of the same quote of Mark Walton's Gamespot love letter to Sony from 23Aug2013 again: "There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that...and yes, even the Vita, are the best places to get that kind of variety now and in the future." That's what he said about the world's current weakest dedicated gaming platform (along with the WiiU atm). Despite the low system sales and abysmal software sales it will not only have the most varied library in the future, nope, acc. to Mr. Walton it already has it now. Like Nintendo didn't exist,  but that's nothing new with gaming journalism.

Plus, some of his tweets from Gamescom: 20 Aug Some brilliant indie wins there for Sony. Impressive so far.

20 Aug Music festival management sim?! Actually, yes. I would like that very much. (Obviously about the Vita game BigFest)

20 AugThat Sony broadband partnership thing is cray cray. Really keen to dig into that.

20 AugMore like Ryse: Son Of Who Gives Shit? Buuuuuuuuuurrrrrrnnnnnnnnnn.

20 Aug Ryse? More like, FAYLL. *chokes on a Mini Milk* (not from him but: Retweetet by )

22 AugTwo surprising things from this morning: you can see the difference with 4K gaming (it's awesome), Ryse does not look like complete balls. (look, Microsoft and Crytek, there's still some hope for your shitty game)

19 Aug6.5 million downloads (half of which were from iOS). Good evangelising for Microsoft there, guys. (I assume: Minecraft)

11hHoly crap, Ballmer's actually retiring?! He's freaking useless, but I will miss his on-stage antics.

19 AugMicrosoft's to indie devs: fuck you, we're great, buy our shit. (the most disgusting tweet of this bunch).

If you still don't understand where I'm getting at: This man is (supposed to be) a gaming journalist.

Shuhei Yoshida didn't say a word as he quietly walked onstage to open the show. There was no grand fanfare as he sat down in a comfy leather chair and began casually flicking through the slick-looking menus of the PlayStation 4. And there was no wall of marketing fluff between him and the audience as he jumped into a Killzone match, failed to shoot at anything in particular, and tweeted a picture of one of its trees.

Wow, that is style! And such confidence.

I always hate the fluff. If there's fluff and hyperbole I get suspicious and hostile but if a presentation is barebones I get respect.

Sony is so in touch with the gaming market right now that it's crazy. They're genious.

I am about to vomit. How can Gamespot hire such a troll and cheap personality?
