I don't think Sonsoft or Macrony is a good idea. They are both doing well at what they do.
Sony just needs more exclusive software...and if Microsoft didn't have RRoD people would honestly have nothing to bitch about the system as everything else is bang on.
Besides...Wii may be selling well as its new and exciting and "fun"...but as an owner of xbox 360 and wii I can honestly tell you that for me, wii is a casual thing.
I remember having a hard on for Zelda and Mario for weeks...and I only beat zelda a month ago and mario galaxy I'm not even half way done.
Where when a game like COD4 or FEAR came out for the 360 my world was put on pause so I could play them. That "must play" feeling is something Wii can not, and will not offer in my opinion. Last thing we need is for Sony and Microsoft to merge to "be like Wii".
