Forums - Microsoft - Dead Rising 3 "definitively isn't a timed exclusive" for Xbox One.

Hope this wasn't posted already. The source is oxm.co.uk

DEAD RISING 3 "DEFINITIVELY ISN'T A TIMED EXCLUSIVE" FOR XBOX ONE, SAYS CAPCOM.

"We see a lot of this online. It's not coming to PS4 or PC."

A quick update from Gamescom, where Jonty is labouring to persuade developers to tell him literally everything about everything pertaining to Xbox One. A Capcom show representative has reasserted Dead Rising 3's Xbox One-only status, in the face of claims that it's going to gravitate elsewhere after debuting on Microsoft's console.

"Definitely not a timed exclusive, it's an Xbox One game," said rep briefly detailed. "We see a lot of this online. It's not coming to PS4 or PC." It's also apparently "excellent", though you'll have to take Jonty's word for that.

Until a year or so down the road when the contract ends.

I'm still gonna bet on a renamed version coming 1-2 years later.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

Or maybe Dead Rising 4 is multiplatform. That's what happened with Dead Rising 1 and 2, though the Wii ended up getting a spin-off with the same story as Dead Rising 1.

I'm thinking of things like Star Ocean and Ninja Gaiden which were DEFINETELY Exclusives but then x amount of months go by and then they appear elsewhere with a new tagline on their name, thus magically making them different games.

I don't think so. After all Lost Planet went to Ps3 being called Lost Planet. And it was an exclusive of Microsoft.

Another likely possibility. Dead Rising 3 is not a timed exclusive. Dead Rising: Kills Lots of Zombies coming to PS4 2014.

It's not a time exclusive. It's just releasing first on one platform.
