Forums - Sony - How big is PSV price cut?

Vita price drop will help sales in the few first months of the drop but the vita still needs more software to sell the system consistently. Right now there aren't enough big games that will push people to really buy the Vita this holiday. I like the idea of remote play and see why Sony is pushing it but I don't think that will be enough to really push Vita sales when the PS4 releases.

I've seen the Vita go on sale for $199 every second week in 2013 and I have an online retailer that has been selling 32GB cards for $80 since launch. I'm not too convinced with this. This is a good start, but it needs big titles. It feels as though they're relying solely on the success of the PS4 to shift Vitas.

You could get a Vita + Sly Cooper for $180 over here before the cut so I doubt we'll see much change. Would be cool if the price went down to $150 incl. a game/card though!
