While it seems like people are so fixated on Minecraft coming out in PS4 at launch and on Xbox One after they seem to forget that it's also coming to PS3, and most importantly the Vita. The Vita version of Minecraft has to be the biggest sleeper of the entire show... if it's the full version (which it should be). Let's face it the Pocket Edition of Minecraft sucks for multiple reasons but now we have a chance to play Minecraft wherever we want with buttons!!!

Whether you like it or not Minecraft is still an insanely popular game and kids eat this game up. Now imagine if the Vita had a bundle that featured this game and an 8gb memory card for $200. With a little advertising this could be a hot ticket item this holidays for kids and even seasoned gamers. Sony would be absolutely insane if they don't have some sort of bundle/advertisement for this game on Vita!

Also add in the fact it could be cross-buy/ cross-play with the PS3 (and less likely the PS4) and you'd be crazy to not own a Vita to get it free and play on the go!

Hopefully it is. I'd really like to see the Vita pick up in hardware sold.

If Sony plays their cards right, it could single handedly move Vita hardware this holiday and beyond. They just have to market the damn thing.

Minecraft has been huge on every platform it has shipped upon...

I think it will be really big on the Vita simply because of the controls. The only handheld that Minecraft is available on (that I am aware of) are phones and the Ipod thing. I tried playing it on my Ipod and while it was fun for a while, the touch controls got very annoying. I just can't play a game using touch screen only controls. The dual analog sticks will make Minecraft much more bearable to play on handhelds.

It'll be the first full Minecraft on a portable console. None of that Minecraft Pocket bs on smartphones. It'd be cool to see some cross-platform functionality with PS3/PS4 so that friends can play together easier.

I have very little interest in Minecraft or the Vita, be even I have to admit that a pocket Minecraft is beyond enticing.

...Lol, too bad there's Pokemon on the 3DS.

It does sound more confortable and on the go.

Its not my kind of game though.
