Forums - Gaming - So did Xbox One or PS4 get any new buyers on VGC today?

It was always going to be a PS4 for me too. Can't wait for naughty dog to announce their game

Although, Xbox One went from "never" to a "maybe". Some of their exclusive titles look really great. Especially, Titanfall and Dead Rising 3. But i'm not sure if it's enough especially when it costs £429.

I think handheld gaming will be fine for me for now. Vita has some interesting stuff coming and i've always wanted a 3DS. Also, PS3 is still getting good support.

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

I will get PS4. I live in Japan and none of my friends are interested in XBOX anyway. I know Sony hasn't shown many exclusives yet, as many of their developers and Japanese 3rd party developers are still pumping out PS3 games. But I'm sure that they will provide excellent exclusives for the life of the console if history is anything to go by. Sony supports their consoles with great software for their entire life cycle. You can't say the same thing for MS. They always seems to start off strong, then shift away from taking chances within a year or two.

Signature goes here!

I am more excited for PS4 since I now know for sure what kind of creative games will be released. Rime was my favorite new title to see at Gamescom.

Looking at the confirmed lineups at launch and the likely timing of releases early next year, I think I'll be waiting until the end of 2014 at least until I decide to buy either console.

wtf happened to my thread -_____-

Um, I was disappointed that Sony didn't reveal any big games. Lots of people here keep talking about 20 PS4 games but we keep hearing about the same 4 or 5 games. Although I'm still getting a PS4 first, I think I'm going to delay my purchase by a few months.
I must say that in terms of games, the Xbox One is looking vastly superior right now.

didn't change my decision.

My reason is because I been gaming on Playstation since 1998 even though I had an N64 (had the best wrestling games, still) I always went back to the Playstation. I wanted a Gamecube too. (because of the Wrestling)

Edit: The PS4 launch line looked a bit weak; that's why, I'll get a PS4 next year.

I was getting a ps4 in 2014 anyway, all gamescom did was hype me more for Shadow fall.

I'm probably still going to hold off for a few months before buying either, since neither have a launch line up that I think justifies the purchase yet. The only games I'm at all interested in are Killzone SF, Knack and Watchdogs (which i'll be getting on PC anyway).
