Shadow of the Beast can hardly be classified as a indie. The first game was made by Psygnosis which Sony later bought meaning the IP is owned by Sony.

Ironic that PS gamers said that.....until Gamescom where it wouldn't benefit their argument. PS gamers are defined by their love for AAA budget, retail, exclusive, gamepad based games.....so ya.

But these games are all games that can be played on 360 and PS3. You aren't the least bit disapointed that there was no big hitter reveal? And whos to say these are all indie exclusives?

XBLA was bashed the entire generation because Xbox gamers cited them for quality but most PS gamers championed the big retail releases.

Until Journey came out and got nominations, this was the true tipping point for the PS culture where maybe, just maybe, downloadable games matter....that they have the potential to benefit their argument ;)

A lot of those games aren't indie. For example, Sony owns the Helldivers IP.

Don't do that please, don't lump me in with your stereotype. You clearly don't know how I post or what I like so don't assume you know anything about what I'm like.

Not you per se, but your "people". All stereotypes are rooted in truth.....like how PS1 and PS2 made it big on that same criteria (most 3rd party). PS3 with 1st party with above criteria. XBLA released more in quantity and in critical acclaim for most of this generation......so theres more truth then you are willing to acknowledge.

But joking aside, it is part of your peoples culture.....not you I guess. And again, whos to say most of those games will stay exclusive on PS? And you didn't answer my question (see last sentence of previous post).

They do count as a cool extra for the strong line-up (PS4), not as the pillar of the device (Vita).

You might want to check the games that have been available for years on PSN.

Aside from Fat Princess, and 3........3 games made by ThatGameCompany (which doesn't work exclusively for Sony anymore), PSN titles were never hyped en masse. Nevermind sales power compared to XBLA. I shouldn't have to tell you this.

Nothing wrong with the above. I truly believe there is a cultural difference between Nin, MS, and Sony fans. We are not all the same. We each like certain game styles and aspects more then others.

Nothing wrong with liking the AAA, retail, gamepad, exclusive. Those are the defining games of our generations! Digital is.....or was our thing. So excuse me if I get snippy because the opposing fanbase is cannibalizing my peoples culture.

they always counted.  it's just that between MS and their fans no one really hyped them much.  not like sony and ps fans did for flower, journey, fat princess, echochrome, pixal junk eden, pixal junk shooter 1/2, dead nation, sound shapes, super stardust, unfinished swan, rain, wipeout at least.

okay yeah, ms fans hyped a few: limbo, braid, shank 2, shadow complex, scott pilgram, trails evolution, splosion man, super meat boy, castle crashers, fez.

..i bolded the ones that later came to psn and italicized the ones who's developers turned into MS's biggest haters which really deflated their arguments for xbla.  don't get me wrong,.. i'm sure there are other really good games on xbla but if no one is hyping them i have no idea what they are.

and i'm sure you are right.  xbone will get a majority of the indie games sony is hyping right now.  but psn will get them first which is it's own advantage.  and (most importantly of all) doesn't take away from the fact that the witness looks amazing to me.  as does rime, and rapture, and muraski baby, and transistor, and ...    actually, i don't really care they are coming to PC as well as i don't have a gaming pc. 

i'm just flat out more excited for a lot of these games moreso than many of the big publisher boxed games.
