Yeah Im not the biggest hack n slash fan but I thought the main character looked badass, Id love to see him and Kratos have a fight ^^
Sony's conference wasn't amazing but it was definitely watchable. They had tons of indie titles and some surprises in there as well such as Borderlands 2 Vita and Minecraft on PS4. Happy to hear the PS Vita price cut on the handheld itself as well as memory cards, will most likely end up buying one for Christmas.
Can't comment much on Microsoft since they didn't really have a show, but from what I'm reading on the internet there weren't very many surprises.

lol now that would be something else XD
I will focus only on Sony conf.
+ PS4 Release Date
+ PS4 Launch Countries
+ 14 new PS4 games
+ 10 new Vita games (most Crossplay with PS4)
+ Vita pricecut
+ Free PS+ games
+ GT6 AWESOME trailer
Great presentation at least.
My review:
Sony: 8/10
EA: 5/10
MS: 0/10
Nintendo: 0/10
Well if you love Indie games, Sony is the way to go next gen... but most seem timed exclusives, and I can get a majority of them on PC.
To me the biggest blow to MS was the announcement of Minecraft coming to PS4. Also hurts Wii U owners even more.
The one who lost the most is CBoat since the PS4 isn't coming till November. Would have been nice to hear from MS.
It's just that simple.
I was a little bored of the Sony show, but in retrospect at least they bothered doing one :)
I think it certainly could have been a better paced show, the pacing was off and the direction was pretty poor (the director should be fired after that).
I hate people being elitest and saying indie games are not games. They may not be AAA games but are people saying there is no place for indie on a console?
The FIFA thing was a PR masterstroke by MS, even though the console is still more expensive, from a PR point of view it scores more points. I think the only way they could have countered that would have been with a ND/SSM title release.
I understand why they didnt, Why talk about games coming out next year when this year is locked out in terms of games. Why lose that momemtum next year when you might need it, to lose it now...especially when pre-orders are already high.
If they are working on what we think they are (Mass effect style space game, Uncharted 4 and more) then it's going to be great, just disappointed didnt get to see that today. Anyone expecting more AAA games this year is frankly a fool :)
Oh come on, be proud and admit of the fact that Sony conference was decent at best. Nothing groundbreaking new or next-gen announced. Just a bunch of indie games that hardcore crowd deoesn't care about.
I'm not saying it was disappointing, it just didn't live it to the hype. At least I anticipated a new AAA title to be announced. Tired of seeing the same games again and again.

WiiU will likely get Minecraft eventually too. It has sold 10m+ on PC, 8m+ on X360, prob another couple million on PS3, then a bunch more on mobile devices such as Ipads. It will make it's way to nintendo at some point as well. It is a cash cow and will likely sell on any platform you put it on.
I had low expectations for Gamescom after E3 and it about met those. TGS I expect more than either of these shows so that could be a disappointment.
