I already have my paid off and in an hour going to go preorder a game and put $50 down on it. I for one am pumped for the Xbox One and the games they have lined up are looking crazy good. In fact there are too many games for me to play. Killer Instinct is my most anticipated game right now.

Oh and I'll get a PS4 in a couple years time when the price drops and Uncharted comes out. It will be my exclusive single player console. Xbox for me has always a better online experience so I will buy all my multiplats for it. Both consoles will have a great exclusive lineup this gen.

I'm the opposite. I'm getting a ps4 now and when the xbox one drops in price, I'll get that. I would love to buy them both at launch, but thats alot of money for a couple exclusives since 3rd parties are the same on both. Titan Fall looks really nice though, but I might wait until the new halo drops or the price drops enough, not sure yet. I'll let the one's exclusives library build up before diving in though. The extra $100 for the kinect that I won't really use that much is kinda meh.

Where's Killer Instinct! And Zoo Tycoon!

How good do you think Zoo Tycoon will be with a gamepad?

If they have mouse and keyboard support, that'll be amazing though.

Well, for me personally I don't play PC so it'll be fine, that and I liked Jurassic Park Operation Genius on Xbox.

I'm sure it would be better with PC and Mouse? Depends on the Kinect elements and if they actually enhance gameplay.

I have joined the dark side and switched from the PS4 to the X1. I'll still pick up a PS4 when I finish school and I have more time.

@BloodyRain
Understandable since $500 is a lot of money. I'm just ready for the next Gen and I'm a multiplayer guy. I have always enjoyed XBL and with all the improvements from voice chat to dedicated servers I dont believe Sony can touch it. I'm not saying PSN won't be good but great online play combined with what I think will be the best controller in console history sealed my X1 purchase.
I all love Uncharted, God of War, and I'm sure Sony will have something else up its sleeve so its a must buy for that later on. I did the same thing last Gen with the 360 and PS3.
I noticed you said you wouldn't use the Kinect much but you never know if that killer app or game might release that makes a Kinect a must. I think when people start using the Kinect+interface on the X1 they will never look back.
Titanfall does look good :)

You hit it right on the head for me.  I will eventually have both consoles, but KNOW i will enjoy the XONE right out of the box.  Kinect will prove itself to be awesome over time to the naysayers.  I am sure that the hardcore Sony guys will just say Kinect sucks and never really give it a chance til they get their PS5 that has similar tech.

Xbox live gold was good when I used it this gen. Sony's was inferior since it lacked features, but next gen it will prob be fine. As for controller, they were both good for me, no complaints on either. I am actually amused with things like voice control, but I still think it might be a gimmick that wears off on me. It was like siri on my iphone. It was cool for awhile, but eventually I just went back to normal. I hope they do make a convincing app for kinect though and who knows you might be right that when I get to use it, I might love it lol.

Xbox all the way for me. PS doesn't interest me at all and I've never liked the controller.

Although i like PS games more than xbox's, and i have never get a xbox console, and i like so much my ps2 and ps3, I have to admit Xbox One is way much better than PS4:

- kinect 2 is way much better than kinect 1 and anything of camera in ps4. The definitive version of Just dance 2014, will be the One's version.

- Cloud: can improve the power of One 4 times, also it can record the gameplay patterns from friends and apply it to AI (like in forza), also infinitely storage

- showed more games than PS4.

- Is also a dev kit, this brings infinite possibilities. All people can develop to One, a open comunity of developing will bring the best and biggest indie suport, due the freedom of developing.

All the rest is equal to PS4: very similar power (offline), great third party support, tradictional controller with new rumble, video sharing, we have to pay to play online, etc.
