I have always enjoyed XBL and with all the improvements from voice chat to dedicated servers I dont believe Sony can touch it. I'm not saying PSN won't be good but great online play combined with what I think will be the best controller in console history sealed my X1 purchase. I all love Uncharted, God of War, and I'm sure Sony will have something else up its sleeve so its a must buy for that later on. I did the same thing last Gen with the 360 and PS3. I noticed you said you wouldn't use the Kinect much but you never know if that killer app or game might release that makes a Kinect a must. I think when people start using the Kinect+interface on the X1 they will never look back. Titanfall does look good :) |
Xbox live gold was good when I used it this gen. Sony's was inferior since it lacked features, but next gen it will prob be fine. As for controller, they were both good for me, no complaints on either. I am actually amused with things like voice control, but I still think it might be a gimmick that wears off on me. It was like siri on my iphone. It was cool for awhile, but eventually I just went back to normal. I hope they do make a convincing app for kinect though and who knows you might be right that when I get to use it, I might love it lol.
