Bah! I payed full price near release....still in shrink wrap.

Good news though as I plan to start it soon.

JRPG's that dont have the name Final Fantasy always get the short end of the stick these days.

err I'm not a Final Fantasy fan; I just never got to Ni no Kuni because I was completing/playing other games.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

No, I am talking about JRPG sales as a genre. Final Fantasy is the sole survivor these days and for all the wrong reasons. Final Fantasy 13's prices were more stable than Ni No Kuni and that was a far better game in quality. Studio Ghibli is amazing.

Probably have 400 uncompleted Steam games, and all together around 50 uncompleted games on my other platforms. I tend to just buy anything that's on sale like a retard.

Thats the thing with Steam, they give away all these games but more games keep coming out. I have friends who finish their console games but have yet have no time to finish their console games that they pay so much for. I have a friend who still has two Steam sales worth of games to finish in two years. Hundreds of games.

Mine is quite good, have sort of reached the point where there aren't that many games Im interested in getting, so the backlog is only around 10-20 games.

Really?

FFXIII was $14.99 when I bought it and FFXIII-2 was $19.99 when I bought it (less than 6 months after its release).

Both new and local retail copies.

I think the most expensive PS3 game I purchased so far was Tales of Graces F for $43 while FFXIII and Red Dead Redemption GOTY were the cheapest for $14.99 each.

Final Fantasy 13-2 launched two years after 13 (much to the dismay of people who had been anticipating Versus). I remember at my Gamestop a year after FFXIII came it was $39.99.
