Well... If I have to choose I'd say Mario Kart because of multiplayer, still it's an odd comparison :P

 i will choose but they are completely different.

Mario Kart for chaotic fun and Forza for more realistic. Personally i found Forza to be better this generation than Gran Turismo but they are both good as well.

But really Forza and GT are very different than Mario Kart so not a fan of the comparison. Though I do understand the comparison(Big 3)

From a technical perspective there is no doubt it has been Forza historically (whether this continues we'll see).

From a fun perspective I prefer Mario Kart.

I edited before you sent it to me.  I understood though :)  Just hard for me to decide because they are so different is all.

Difficult to compare MK to Forza and GT. For me, GT is the best for depth and sheer size and challenge but older MK games are great fun, especially multiplayer!
I haven't really played Forza that much.

This gen.......

Realistic racer- Forza 3 by a country mile.

Kart racer- Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed (it's light years ahead of the competition, though i am currently playing Mario Kart 7 finally, and its a damn fine game)

Forza 3 vs. Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed? All stars pips Forza for me, just a TREMENDOUS GAME.
