I actually liked the Zelda games, what was wrong with them?

Even though the DS outsold the PSP nearly 2:1, I think the DS library isn't much better than the DS. I had good fun with Pokemon Diamond and Soul Silver and Mario Kart, but Megaman Maverick Hunter X, all the Resident Evil PSOne classics and MGS: Peace Walker really made the PSP fantastic.
e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)
While the DS had a lot of great games, the PSP had an overall better quality library. Even when you compare genres that the Nintendo DS excelled at, the PSP titles are just as good if not better at times.
Nintendo has a decent amount of good platformer titles, 2D and 3D, but so does the PSP. Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles, Prinny, Prinny 2, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, Gurumin, Tomb Raider Legend, Tomb Raider Anniversary, etc.
When it comes to just about every genre that the DS doesn't excel at quite as well as the PSP, then it's no contest. RPG, Shooter, Shmup, Fighting, Action/Adventure, etc.
The only games that the DS has that the PSP can't "touch(pun intended") are touch screen type casual games. Rarely are they any good, but there's the rare title like Feel the Magic Xx/Xy and Rub Rabbits which are very good.

The touch controls. While I didn't like motion being focused on and forced in Skyward Sword for example, the touch navigation for the DS Zeldas was a whole different level of hate for me.
I am beyond overjoyed (and relieved) that Nintendo wised up and returned true to form with A Link Between Worlds because that game looks far too good to be ruined by mandatory touch navigation.

The fanboyism is strong in you. You only played the PSP more, because you thought you had to, it being a Sony product and all. Well, at least you are able to admit it. |
Its the games that put me there, not the name on the console.
