Oh come on, nobody is saying "NO JL IS A GOD AMONG MEN YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY QUESTION HIM" most are just saying that you can't call him completely wrong on his overall point because his initial prediction is incorrect.  I don't agree with that but it's not an unreasonable argument, I'd like to know when these apparently reasonable people would start to agree with me over JL based on sales coming in.  

Actually I think one guy has said he is a god, that PM was pretty much complete arse licking. Some in here though have been alright I agree. All of it is outlandish though, so if they agree with it in the first place I find it hard to see them swaying.

To your previous point about religion, his OP ect seap of it. When that one guy started doubting he basically admitted he had to 'make him believe' sounds like brainwashing. I believe all the people signing up are people from JL's own site (or one he is on) because they're all very simialr, the lingo and what they believe.

One guy did call him a messiah in the leaked PM. Now I'm not saying all of Lucas' supporters are brainwashed or whatever, but very few of them actually formulate their own arguments. Instead they mostly just parrot whatever Lucas is saying. I get why, Lucas' posts are very inspiring to people upset about the WiiU's sales. I don't think any of them actually agree with him, but they want to believe what he is saying is true. That the WiiU will become an overnight sensation and Sony and MS will forced out of the console market for good.

Yep, I like to think that deep down none of them actually believe Lucas' ramblings. That it just gives them hope.

Oh and I managed to listen to some of that interview. Most of it was just Lucas getting his ego stroked but it was also filled with multiple contradictions. At one point he said that it was a huge mistake for MS to not put Killer Intstinct on store shelves as not being visible was going to hurt the game. Later on he said that it was a great idea for Nintendo to create Wii Sports Club and make it a digital download only on WiiU.

Yeah, I saw that too. In real-time he didn't know what to answer when the interviewer pointed out that contradiction.

And the best part for me was when the interviewer said Wii Sports Club was a AAA title. He even said something like "it's incredible how Nintendo can pull out of the hat a AAA game as if it was nothing". As far as I know, a AAA game takes years to be developed. Nintendo must be the only dev capable of launching AAA titles within months

And to Toriallian; How about you make a prediction of your own with a few reasonable ideas as to how Nintendo will fail and Sony/MS will be victorious in the 8th gen? Its easy to harp on and on about JL and joining the Seece/Fusioncode/Zod95 (not mentioning Mummelmann for specific reasons) bandwagon. Especially now, so yeah! Why not make your own analysis? Right now the anti-nintendomination brigade is clinging to Mummelmann while some of the Nintendo fans cling to JL.

We're actually 'clinging' to the numbers (which are 99% in our favour an completly showing you, JL and the rest that believe in the OP, up). It's pretty obvious by your PM's you can't actually add anything to this discussion, you'll believe whatever JL has to say (actually wasn't it you that said he was the messiah? Or someone else ... will have to dig it up.

Alas, funny you defend that guy in the vid, he has enough to know he isn't being sarcastic.

Also, what is anti about being logical in this argument? Because somebody doesn't buy into what JL is saying (which IS ridiculous whether you like to admit or not) they're anti Nintendo, deary me.
