It'll happen, just like you're terrrrible Wii prediction failed hard (have any of your predictions actually come true? Or do you just disappear when it's obvious they're going to fail?), this will too. PS3 has sustained very very well on the back of support from Sony. They fulfilled their 13m forecast last year and will do a minimum of 8m this year.

Both PS360 will be past 90m by the end of 2014 and will continue to sell in the following years until they both overtake Wii (MS will want it bad, they've overtaken in the UK, US this holiday, they'll want the hattrick).

101m is an easy figure for both Sony and MS to aim for.

A poster named PS4 had just made a post called "Worldwide Wii sales are now only 4 million behind Xbox 360 - closing the gap".

I predict by end of year we'll be seeing Wii be on its way to that 20 million mark probably even passed that. That is not hyperbole. Half a year they sell 10 million so why do you think the other half they can't sell 10 million? You know holiday sales give a little more oomph than rest of year, right?"

INSTANTLY this bold proclamation was challenged by a poster named The Source & I UNDERLINE my statement even further:

"Well that's what I'm proposing. I see Wii besting the 360 within the month of July. By August We will see Wii pulling ahead...

...But I guarantee you that we won't have to wait 'til fall to see Wii catching the 360. It will be the worldwide leader this summer I guarantee you. By holiday season will be start of its domination period which will carry it all the way through this generation as top system. By then it's not just gonna outsell the competition it's gonna overshadow the competition. You'll be seeing me on these boards, trust me. Just wait and see what the numbers say to see if I'm full of hot air or some other type of 'substance'. I call it for July. That's when we'll see Wii catch the 360. I call it for 20 million at Dec 31, 2007. That's the worldwide tally of sales for Wii. We'll just have to see if I'm right. I don't play the caution game when I see a sure thing. I don't like hedging bets. I'm very confident in my predictions."

The thing is on course to ship 8 mill this year (and hit 84 mill) and you think 90 lifetime is deluded?? I don't think so. It's not even had a solid price cut in 5 years.

PlayStation division posts losses, PS3, Vita sales lower than expected

The firm had originally forecast combined PS3/PS2 sales of 10 million for the entire year, but has so far only managed to shift 1.1 million.

Seems like Wii U sales stay rather constant since WW HD is released. Another 66k/67k-ish. Next week Wii Party U will be included, so let's see in what extent will this game contribute to the sales in the west =) And in the week after next week there several Wii U bundles will be released in Japan (on Oct 31st) + the releases of Wii Party U, Wii Sports Club AND Wii Fit U(Download, also in the west, and the Retail-version follows in Dec). -> Triple power in Japan =)
And then Black Friday in Nov followed by Christmas in Dec.

in ONE quarter. There are three left, please tell me you understand that right? One of those qaurters being christmas. You're making out they missed their forecast by 9 million.

You're by far the most disingenious poster on VGC, congrats. They expected 13m last FY (and hit it) but only shipped 1.8m in the first Q. For reference.

end of june - 78.2
end of september - 79.4

Of course this gen is weakening, nobody is saying otherwise. The fact they're still doing 10m on average is an incredible feat. They will not erode as fast as Wii did tho, and that's yet another thing you'll have to come to terms with in the years to come, when they eventually pass Wii.

I didn't read the rest of your post, you write too much and if you think it makes you anymore legit you're wrong, it just comes across as waffle.

Like I said, you're last prediction was terrible and so far off, as will the rest of yours. You simply see what you want to see, and the public has chosen already, PS4 will lead this generation with Xbox One just behind. WiiU will not pick up to overcome either of those. Like I said, consumers have been telling you over the last 10 months exactly what they think of WiiU.

Slowest selling console of the big 4 (sega) in videogame history. Face the facts :)

By the way where did you get 79.4 million number for the 360?
At the time of this writing October 29, 2013 XBox 360 only has 78.7 million worldwide according to VGChartz.
