The only games for which I don't have it on are Devil Survivor Overclocked and Animal Crossing...

Have a nice day...

To anyone who doesn't use the 3D, try leaving the slider to just barely on. It'll make your game look more bright and vibrant but without the 3D!

Yes, pretty much all the time. I only turn it off when I need to conserve batteries. Never had any issues using it.

I used them for the Fire Emblem anime cutscenes and never use it again.

It still drains the battery and you still have to hold the console directly infront of you without horribly distorting the image. Rather just enjoy the game in 2D without the hassle.

Yes it will drain the battery, but no it wont disort the image much at all in most games, only make it brighter. Of course you can do what you want with your system. I'm just making a suggestion!

I have always found this complaint strange. Do you move around a lot while playing games or something? Because I have never had any issues finding the sweet-spot even when playing rather hectic games. No hassle whatsoever.

I almost never use it.

That would be because both of your eyes still recognize the backlight which gets turned up a notch when you switch into 3D mode (on a proper 3D setting each eye sees its own light). Powering the backlight is what drains the battery of the 3DS so fast.

But instead of your method, anyone could just turn up the brightness setting of the system. On max you risk to get blind anyway, so there's no need for your tip.

damn you really hate the 3d.

I feel this topic has been talked about at least 3 times already. And my answer is the same. No, I rarely use my 3ds in my home so im never near a charger, therefore i dont want to waste battery life on something that IMHO doesnt really add all that much. Rather use it for streetpass

some of the 3d videos are cool...some
