If only everyone could put asside their personal preferences and see things for what they are! Sonic Lost World could be GotY while 3D World is worst GotY, and it'd still sell more.

No and no. No Sonic game from the Sonic team has ever reached critical acclaim across numerous review sites, and Mario games are constantly up there. And no, no Sonic game has ever outsold a mainstream Mario during the same time period and never will. Look at NSMBU, pretty much a "whatever" Mario game and it sold very well, most people who bought a Wii U bought that game. 3D World will likely be bought by most of the people who bought NSMBU, and those who have been waiting until a game like that to buy a Wii U. Plus, Mario games are commonly given as gifts for friends and family, Sonic isn't known to do that. The fact that 3D World has multiplayer like that makes it even more appealing. It's not about me being a Mario fanboy, nor am I trying to be a Sonic hater (I don't hate Sonic, nor am I a Mario "fanboy", just a "fan"), it's just facts. So yeah, I'm telling you this while I have placed all personal preferences aside. :)

Yeah, that's basically what I just said lol. If only everyone were like you, no one would say crazy things like "Sonic will outsell Mario because it looks better!"

Well, he said that all those games could very well do the trick without a price cut; and you've been saying that the Wii U still needs a $100 price cut despite all those games. That's a meaningful difference.


It doesnt need a big price cut but it would sure as hell help alot along with all those games. There are so many people calling for a price cut now but it makes absolutely no sense, its still sold at a loss currently and a price cut would just increase those losses amd they dont have the strong software to make up for it. 

Next spring would be a good time to do a hefty cut and even if there taking a loss after the cut, they will have a bunch of strong selling games to make up for it.

Both games will help but Mario will sell more and will help more. However I think Sonic looks more amazing (I loved the casino level of that video he he)

By this time next year we could be looking at a Wii U library of NSMBU, Nintendo Land, Pikmin 3, DKC Tropical Freeze, Mario 3D World, Wii Party U, Wii Fit U, Sonic Lost World, Sochi Olympics, Yarn Yoshi, Wonderful 101, Wind Waker HD, Lego City Undercover, Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, X, SMTxFE, Bayonetta 2, ZombiU, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Scribblenauts Unlimited/Unmasked, Injustice, Resident Evil Revelations, Assasins Creed 3/4, Batman Arkham City/Origins, COD Black Ops 2/Ghosts, Skylanders Giants/Swap Force, Darksiders 2, Rayman Legends, Splinter Cell, Disney Infinity, Just Dance 4/5, NFS Most Wanted, Sonic All Stars Racing. 

Thats 40 high quality games spanning multiple genres and a hell of a lineup for a console less than 2 years old.

To be fair, the question is whether Sonic will help Wii U more than Mario. But in a sense, you're right here about fully turning Wii U around. 

Well the first sentence in the title says Sonic can turn the Wii U around, all im saying is thats false. It will help but it wont do it on uts own and no game will.
