Nice list OP.
Only thing I would question is Sony - First console with a memory card
It shouldn't be an achievement as that was kind of a by product of using CDs.
Which has done the most? | |||
| Nintendo | 488 | 60.40% | |

Plus people will make fun of me but still, I think Wii fit should be included. Oh and what about 4 players multiplayers? I know Sony had those thing to play 4 at a time but I'm not sure of much they really mattered. Anyway I think Nintendo pushed massively local multiplayer forward...

Are you one of those people who pulled video cassettes apart and played with all the tape? I always wondered who made all that mess.
WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3
A lot of people in this thread seem to be totally unaware of consoles that played CDs and video before the PS1/PS2.
For the way i like to game sony
Overall Nintendo
You missed that sony had a cd player, sony was the first to release demo cds's of games with their magazines
i may be wrong on some of theses, but was the ps2 not the first to use a camera to imerse the player into gaming?
and the ps2 was the first console to use linux?
Only the most devoted of MS and Sony fans would say MS or Sony. It's a fundamental misreading of video game history not to put Nintendo ahead of those two.

Nintendo. How anyone can vote for either of the other two is beyond me tbh.

Well Sega attempted a dial up internet based service.
Microsoft pioneered online gaming and its infrastructure. Forced Broadband only. Dedicated servers. Lag free online matches. Games that actually didnt disconnect.
I KNow I had a Dreamcast. It wasnt online gaming. It was Ghost online gaming. in 2 mins bursts.
Get the hell out of here with PS3. LOL at it had apps first. Not sure why you think NXE brought that to the table, it was on Blades in 2006. Just not the same way.
As for the whole Live social experience which is what I was referring to, Microsoft created that and brought it to the console world.
So like I said.
1. Microsoft created achievements.
2. Microsoft created a social network for consoles
These 2 things are missing from the OP list and have been the most heavily copied innovations this generations.
