I think we can all agree that Nintendo has the most recognizable video game caracthers in the world.

Wether it be Mario, Luigi, or Pikachu.

But to me, it would have to be Pac-Man hands down.

Mario ... the guy is ubiquitous. Chicks who are totally out of touch with video games can cite Mario in discussions when they want credibility (with respect to videogames).

Easily Mario, then probably Pikachu. People who don't even play video games will recognize either one of those characters most of the time.
