b: ninty has nothing to do with the game and its features or the lack thereof

c: the splitscreen is ommited by Ubisoft for legit reasons...see the linked video a few posts back

they should sell it for less then or give us free DLC that covers the co-op later on. anything ells and they can go to hell!

Understandable reason. It still has online co-op, and the online modes (unlike another major third party game coming to Wii U). Plus there might be a patch for it, so no big deal.

you know whats funny, i thought of you  when I saw the thread. Didnt we talk about how they would either devs would have to gimp the MP (espcially local) if they wanted to really utilize the pad? Or they would not utilize the pad in order for the MP not to be and imbalanced mess?

Not terrible news, Wii U is getting online modes and DLC, plus gamepad features not possible on other versions. Dont we usually have one of these threads when its online modes and DLC missing?
Im gonna get it, i love stealthy games, the gamepad features look useful and its quite handy in the graphics dept too.
