Forums - PC - Custom Gaming PC for a noob

So I was looking into creating a gaming PC and found this ebay seller that assembles them to YOUR specifications.  I thought it would be fairly basic but there are a lot of components.  I've never really gotten into PC gaming too much.  Can you guys configure this thing to settings that would let it run current (and next gen if you can predict) games at max settings?  Just scroll down and you'll see dropdown lists to configure the PC to what you want.  Please post a link of the configuration you come up with.

If you don't want to build it yourself, try somewhere like ibuypower.com or cyberpowerpc.com

My last two PCs have been from ibuypower.com and I've been quite pleased, especially since they weren't all the much more than buying the parts from newegg and you get to redeem any rebates yourself. You just configure it how you want or you can go with the different configurations they offer.

thanks for the sites but damn this is complicated haha.  Yeah I don't want to assemble myself definitely not knowledgable enough for that.  I just have seen enough Steam deals and Rome 2 gameplay to convince me that I really want one for the coming gen to go along with my PS4 and its exclusives.  Not really interested in capturing or dual monitors or 120fps or anything extravagant just want a great rig that can run games at 1080p or higher at 60fps.  The only problem I'm running into is trying to predict next gen needs.

Websites like NCIX and some others build the computer for you for $50 extra bucks when you select all the components on their website. Good luck.

if you have ever used a screwdriver and played with legos you qualify to build it yourself. have faith.

Really?  I was thinking of that but then I started seeing instructions like "make sure you leave enough space for this fan and that heat sink to ventalate and make sure x component fits x case" and I started to worry.
