Forums - Gaming - Rhythm Games Surprisingly Fun?

Elite Beat Agents (DS) is a must. One of the best DS games I've ever played.

If you want some incomprehensible mayhem, check out "The World of Golden Eggs: Nori-Nori Rhythm-kei".

Then try to find the insane animation series that it is based on. Both are great!

WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3

I'm playing this one right now and I can't stop... I loved this song.

I don't know if it fits "Rhythm Games" but I play it dancing

didn't the Wii get a rhythm heaven game late on in its life? Got pretty good reviews iirc too.

DON'T WIN ME CHIBI BUDDY DON'T WIN ME.

ANIMAL CROSSING NEW LEAF FRIEND CODE:- 5129 1175 1029. MESSAGE ME.
ANDY MURRAY:- GRAND SLAM WINNER!

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

Also, I can very much recommend osu! to you.

It's free to play, very challenging, has a strong community backing it up, and has a LOT of songs for you to cover. It's for PC, but the system requirements are not there. It runs on just about anything.

I recommend the PSP games for the DJ max series. If you ever get a vita, you should consider getting Technika Tune although it is quite different from the PSP games. I still enjoy it just as much.

As others have said, Elite Beat Agents and Theatrhythm are easy choices. If you like Elite Beat Agents, you can download a PC game called Osu that plays very similarly. It's free and there's plenty of songs you can download with beatmaps created by the community.

Hello I made an account just to tell you to play Rhythm Heaven Fever on Wii... I wasn't sold on rhythm games until I found this :)

Got a 3DS? Then you must get Theatrhythm Final Fantasy.

I agree with this. Theatrhythm is definitely a lot beffier than I first thought. The game will make you keep coming back for more. (And I only played the free ver. on the iPad, imagine how awesome the full retail 3DS ver. is.)

I second this.  The game is a big hit of nostalgia from all the series, although they start to get really lazy at FF5 when you do story mode.

The story mode is really easy.  You'll feel like you'll never lose.  Once you start playing the Chaos Shrine, it starts off on hard mode, but then you'll play songs that get harder and faster until you get to the final difficulty.  Me?  I can't beat the battle songs on the final difficulty.  I can't even get halfway through.  It's ridiculously hard.

The menu system where you switch characters, switch skills, etc.  That's actually pretty cool too.  I like leveling up and seeing my characters stats go up.  I got four characters to level 99, haven't played as any others actually, but out of the four charcters I chose, Frionel has the overall highest stats but lower HP.  So I'd think if you're really good at the game and you don't miss notes so don't take damage, but you need a high stat character to get all the extras consistently, then have Frionel as a party member.  He jjust barely maxes out strength without any skills, and is on master level with speed, decent with the others.

The other thing you can do while  is that enemies will drop items and such.  A lot of these items teach characters abilities, so you can teach characters a lot of unique skills that they don't otherwise learn.
