Probably the same, except it would have been in HD.

Didn't the 3DS have a fair amount of returns? I know Amazon got kind of miffed about it.

everybody who tries to conveince people that Nintendo system aren't quality have no idea. Lowest system failure quote every gen as far as I know
Got burned on a launch PS1 that had overheating issues. It could have been worse but still had to fork over $75 since the warranty was a few months out. I wouldn't dare buy a system made by Microsoft. I am fine sticking with just Nintendo and PC combo. Only Nintendo system I've had that totally broke was a launch GC. The reason why it broke was because I put it in a hard suitcase when flying one trip and they dropped the suitcase very hard (so hard it damaged the old school hard suitcases). I eventually got another GC but I would still try and make the old one work. Eventually it started working (I believe the laser was a little rattled) and I gave it to a friend. He said it worked for a few months but eventually started messing up again. So it resurrected for about 6-8 months before finally giving out again.
30%+ failure rate is high quality now? Good to know. Microsoft and Sony should introduce the RROD / YLOD seal of quality respectively.
Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

uh.... then you lost me because I'm not sure what your asking?
I guess there would be small failure rate at first then get better by next year.....

What? hardware failures on Nintendo consoles are so small compared to its competitors.
I do not understand the point of this thread...
Looking back, the only times I've seen issues with Nintendo hardware was:
NES having trouble reading cartridges.
The orginal DS/early DS lites hinges being easy to break.
Launch Wii's sometimes having trouble reading dual layered discs.

their systems are amazing. my gameboy still works! but so does my PS1, i would say sony systems arent far behind.
