800Mhz to 853Mhz added 80 GLOFPS to Xbone GPU.

PS4 GPU more 520 GFLOPS than Xbone GPU.

They didn't confirm the GPU or anything but can confirm the GPU clockspeed increase. Sounds so ass backwards

RRoD had to do with under engineering and poor QC. This is not an issue I'd expect to see with the XB1 in light of the fiasco MS had to deal with in the XB360.

If I actually wanted an XB1 on release day, I would be buying with confidence.

As for the upclock on the GPU; yes, it will require more power and will generate more heat, but I'm pretty sure it will be well within the design operating specs.

Keep in mind the XB1 box and its cooling system were designed to avoid RRoD type failures. The box itself is larger and I'm sure a great deal of thought went into keeping airflow and heat management at reliable levels.

Now ask yourself the question: what happens where the two "odd" frequencies meet on the APU? That sounds like a simple question. Engineering wise, it is not quite a simple one..

Tell that for all APU released by AMD until now because the clock are not synced... I even tried to found a relation but each one have it own clock... there are the same APU with the same CPU clock and three or four GPU clock (and I can't found multiplers that makes sense for all these clocks).

I don't know why but AMD APU didn't have clock synced for CPU and GPU.

I'm not saying MS can't upclock the CPU too... I'm just saying that the GPU upclock doesn't mean CPU upclock.

Considering that they never directly mentioned the initial clock speed... I'm underwhelmed and at this point we have no way to know what this actually means.

800MHz from my thread and anything talking about this was based on 3rd parties and leaks.

So this could mean that its now 853MHz or it could mean that its just getting up to about 800MHz as it was actually lower than that earlier.
