Because finding someone that is almost surely town narrows down the suspects.

I think even before Astro's claim, yoshi was pretty clearly town.

You worry me, because it seems like you're hunting for a 3rd-party and not scum in general. The theory you had of yoshi being mafia trying to cause a mislynch(of Astro) is what doesn't add up.

It is the nature of his character. In the show we have no idea who he is. If he was good, bad, or what. He locked everyone in prison and then threw them a feast shortly afterwards. He almost killed two of the shows characters unless they could guess his name right. He is crazy!

I have contacted both Trashleg and Ballz already. So far no response. If anybody is following the game at all and wants to be a replacement please PM me! Maybe they will just show up again... I would hate to have to modkill anybody.

I dont think anyone was clearly town.  

Trying to eliminate suspects.  Plus if there is a thrid party with a kill ability its best to take care of them early as we dont need multiple kills in a night.  

Never said he was Mafia,  just trying to cause mislynch.  He admitted to showing up where a person died.  And because of the flavor everyone believes its has to be good for the town when it says no such thing.  He thought he was watched or Stefl was and threw out Astros name for basically no reason. 

Now Astro is claiming he is innocent via being some hybrid watcher/cop thing.   

I mentioned Astros name because that was the other suspect Noctis said he had. Working under my assumption, I further hypothesised that Astro was also seen at Noctis'

From what Astro has told us, it immediately points at him being the Jack of all Trades role which whilst not common, I don't believe is a rare role.
