First off, for all we know your buddies have already voted for you because of the suspicion you raised.  

As for your reasons,  it is not up to us to try and understand what your reasons are, it is up to you to make us understand what your reasons are.  So if they are confusing or seem eratic to people,  that is not our fault but yours.   No need for all the drama and insults.

Voting for yourself isnt nervous, its a pathetic last attempt to get people to pity your situation, I know I have done it.  

And if first day lynches are lame,  then why were you advocating it from the beginning? 

So your role ins't too important?  Or you can't come up with a deecnt lie for a role claim?   

You keep saying that every game you get lynched for the same reason, but then say you refuse to change because thats who you are, so how is it then everyone else's fault that this happens?

A person who was town would at least try and fight for his survival, and not just blatantly giving up like that. He would use every piece of information at his disposal.

As far as I am concerned the day is over and spurge is lynched, considering he has given us his last post.

All it would have taken was a sound roleclaim without someone contesting it and I would have switched my vote back. Instead we get drama.

This I definitely agree with, as I mentioned further up, fishing for roles this early on is definitely suspicious. If you were a powerful role and it looked like nothing would change the votes on you then sure, claim because at least that way it's mafia that take you out and not town (allowing the precious lynches to be worthwhile) but this early into the game with enough time and doubt left for things to change is a bit too much.

Still keeping my vote on you for not but the fact that you've turned and made a logical argument against an accuser has helped give you some town points in my mind. However, I think no lynch is stupid and at the moment you're still my no. 1 suspect, hence my decision.

OK, I don't have time to go through the last 20 hours of responses right now, but I expect to do so and contribute to the thread before the Day ends at the time limit, which, unless I'm mistaken, is about 4-5 hours from now.

Just because I havent played here doesnt mean It been awhile since I played.  Its not like this is the only website with mafia games in it.  

Im pushing for a role because if its a useful role it would be something I would change my vote for, role claiming is quite common when being lynched, regardless if the role wasnt worth anything.   

I have been playing this game longer than you have on here and other websites,  I think I know what I am doing.   I died day 2 because the mod started the game before everyone checked in, only 6 of the 9.  A player in that game figured the mod wouldnt start the game if the important people werent checked in and ready to play.  He was right.  Plus he had it out for me before the first day even started and before he was even an official player.  Plus with the lack of participation in the game made it easy for him to drive the lynches how he wanted.  So it wasnt poor decisions, it was bad luck/mod.   

Generalization of who is scum based on a couple traits never bodes well.  but I wouldnt expect you to make sense about something like that.  

And if I am the scum you claim me to be then why arent you voting for me?   And why do you care anyway,  you gave up, remember?

I had to drive home from work and I stopped to get a some dinner. Its only been 2 hours,  we arent talking days here.  Man are you really reaching here.   

No rustiness or hurt feelings, so keep on making shit up.  It seems to be helping you out.

Wrong; as Vetteman said, by now your scummates would be in the pack of people calling for your lynch as you've gone completely off the deep end.

Nervous is the wrong word.  Whoever said that was either wrong or using the wrong word.  It would be better to say that you sometimes react to things by behaving very strangely.  Erratically or just insanely.  For instance voting yourself out of the game.

You don't get lynched for allegedly going insane every game.  When it does happen, you make no sense DESPITE all the words you spew.  Even though you've explained yourself, the explanation makes no sense to anyone else.  

"I will play every game."
If you are going to be lynching yourself, I wouldn't want you in a game I hosted.  I would encourage the next host(s) to impose a one or two game long ban.

Just because your role isn't that powerful or critical for town (what I understood you to mean by what you said earlier), that doesn't mean that we can't learn from your claim and possibly inform our decision of who we want to lynch.  And yes, if you had been paying attention instead of foaming at the mouth you probably would have noticed (or remembered) that someone did in fact ask for roleclaims from the two with the most votes, of which you are one.  

P.S.  This was written before I saw any posts beyond my previous one (with the incorrect deadline estimate), because of the nature of my spotty internet connection.  I will be reading the new posts soon.  I am also wondering whether this post will get interesting results from people not reading the postscript.  

P.P.S.  I am also curious whether, by posting this before reading the new posts, I have put my foot in my mouth.  I could just read them first, but this is more fun.
