Fuck I was studying for my finals and I totally forgot about the game today. Rol if I told you I was going to pick the Chargers would you give this poor tired student a pass and accept my horrible choice

NO ONE in their right mind would pick SD unless they're a crazy fanboy of the team. You're not a SD fan, so yeah no.

BTW, I can't believe SD is actually winning right now. GUess this is a game to watch (heads to turn tv on)

Is the Ravens really that bad that everyone is picking the Lions to destroy them?

They're not terrible, no.

Come on, they are 1-5 on the road. Those lucky bastards only won in Miami which just so happens to be crucial in the AFC wild-card race.

I didn't say they were good either.

That's not the point. You denied that they are awful on the road. Which they clearly are with losses to the Bills and Browns.

I denied no such thing. I simply pointed out in response to a question of why folks think they'll be "destroyed" by the Lions that they're not terrible. Other than the blowout at Denver they've never lost by more than one score: six points to the Browns is their biggest defeat.

Admittedly that cuts both ways: other than the Jets and Texans they haven't won by more than one score either. They seem to play to the level of their competition. I'd stick them in the middle of the pack, rankings-wise.

It sure is a horrible choice...

Plus I made the pick when the Chargers were down 7-3. Take pity on me Rol, maybe the football gods will give you good Karma if you do.

They might even let you go 16-0 because of your kindness, don't tell me your not tempted

The implications of this Denver loss are that in January Manning might have to play where the sun don't shine.

In someone's ass? So Oakland?

Being a Pats fan, I strongly approve of Denver losing, and this message.

Boston.

I guess you haven't heard what Manning said just a few days ago about the stories that he doesn't play well in cold weather. He told reporters to stick them where the sun don't shine.

ah, no I missed that. Man you're up late.

You mean early. Went to bed very early yesterday and woke up at 4 a.m.

yep, that's what I meant.... its a grey area that early/late. Depends if you slept, but since you did then it's early.
