So obviously a lot of the launch games for the X1 and PS4 can be playe offline, not all the games are gonna require online connections because developers need to test the waters and see how these games sell, but if games like The Division, The Crew, Destiny, or Deep Down (Rumored to be always online) all sell really well then developers are gonna think that is where the money is at and make all their games always online. We also have games like Sunset Overdrive that "utlilize the cloud" but are not always online, so if you want the full experience you basically have to be online, I think these games are conditioning us for an always online generation. Personally I'm a little worried about this and I don't know why other people don't seem to care, I mean when the X1 required a 24 hour check in internet connection people got so mad, but when the actual games require a constant internet connection people don't seem to care, were people just jumping on the X1 hate bandwagon? What do you guys think, do you like the way games are now, or do you wants games to be always online.
