The other day I talked with my brother about whether or not he should get a PS4 or a XboxOne, and all the games he wanted for the PS4 were multiplats, so I asked him "But that's only multiplats you want. How come you buy the PS4 if you don't want the exclusives?" and he answered me "Because Kinect".

Me, I buy Nintendo consoles because of their exclusives, but it dawned on me that that might not be the case for everyone. So I'll ask YOU: Why have you bought the console you currently have? Is it because of the exclusives? Or to get a specific feature? Or because you wanna get AWAY from a specific feature?

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

I have a WiiU because i like the hardware and love the exclusives and i have an Xbox for multiplats. not a huge fan of there exclusive but its a good console. i personal would prefer to own a PS3 instead of my 360 though

I got my 360 because that had the better games at the time. Then I bought a PS3 because I wanted the awesome JRPG games for it, and I bought the Vita because I had hoped to see a lot of JRPG games in America by now.

I went with a Wii U. Already have a PC and I wanted something that would give me games I'd usually never see on PC giving me the most diverse library of games to choose from. The other two platforms are great but libraries tend to overlap with what I can get on PC.

I buy Nintendo consoles for the exclusives. Metroid/Zelda/Smash/3D Mario/Mario Kart, those 5 games alone are worth getting a $200 console for and the other Nintendo series like DK/Star Fox/F-Zero/Pikmin/Kirby make it bettetvplus Nintendo usually gets some killer 3rd party exclusives as well like MH Tri/Viewtiful Joe/Symphonia/RE Zero/REmake.

When it came to deciding whether to get PS3 or 360 it also came down to exclusives. They share 90% of the same 3rd party games so either one would work for those and I dont play online (prefer local mp much better) so Live wasnt a selling point and became a paywall for Netfix. Games like GoW/Infamous/Uncharted appealed to me more than Halo/Gears/Fable so I chose PS3.

Every since PSX i was never disappointed with a playstation. Plus Tekken always felt great using a DS controller.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

My main gaming platform is PC.
Then i have 3DS and Wii U for all the Nintendo exclusives and a different way of playing.

Most of the experiences on Sony and MS consoles can be found in some variation on PC, i have no need for 2 gaming platforms which are the same.

Current Game Machines: 3DS, Wii U, PC.

Currently Playing: X-Com(PC), Smash Bros(WiiU), Banner Saga(PC), Guild Wars 2(PC), Project X Zone(3DS), Luigis Mansion 2(3DS), DayZ(PC)

I bought a Wii to play Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart Wii and a DS to play Pokemon Platinum and HeartGold.
And I recently got a PS3 to play Tales of Xillia, Tales of Xillia 2, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD, the imminent Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD, and the Ratchet games.

And finally, I'll get a PS4 when FFXV is released to play that game and Kingdom Hearts III.

Grew up on PlayStation, The brand has stayed much the same so I've never stopped buying them.
