exactly one year ago it was a great time to be a nintendo fan, the 3DS was on fire, the Wii and DS just won a generation and the future seemed very bright with Nintendo being the only one out of the big three announcing a next generation console and was going to on to be the only next gen console on the market for at least one whole year.

Fast forward a year and here we are, with nintendo massively dissapointing its fans, things were perfect a year ago, 3DS was smashing the vita, the vita was selling like crap (still is!), nintendo fans could bash sony all they wanted, but now the WiiU has came and destroyed all of that. how can nintendo fans now bash sony without the WiiU getting mentioned? 

imagine if the WiiU sold like the Wii, imagine how nintendo fans could have made fun of sony fans. but now that opportunity is gone, and the measly 160K WiiU shipment number will haunt nintendo fans for years, probably decades to come. Nintendo failed its fans, they failed them hard.

 

Also, please nobody come here talk about games, we all know games arent important when it comes to gaming consoles, its about the sales.

I can still make fun of Sony fans if I want. I just need to steer far, far away from anything remotely mentioning the Wii U.

Also, please nobody come here talk about games, we all know games isnt important when it comes to gaming consoles, its about the sales.

yeah the vita is an amazing piece of hardware for nintendo fans

lol well im not disapointed.. I have a WiiU and im pretty satisfied with it, i plan on getting a 3DS in november also. I would bash the vita for its bad sales but i actually like the handheld (not enough to buy it over a 3DS but non the less). But honestly i really do wonder how sony and micosoft next generation console are going to sell.. look at the vita, it had TONS [and i mean TONS] of hype, but... yea. Also I notice alot of my friends arent to excited for the new console, they still say the ps3 and Xbox 360 still has alot of life still in it. most aren't ready for next generation i guess. we will have to wait and see what the sales will be

the vita does exist after all and also, some sony fans just make it easy to mock them!

But if there were no games there'd be no sales, so they matter more regardless of how you spin it.

Also, I'm definitely glad to be a Nintendo fan right now! Loads of great games already released and upcoming this year alone for 3DS, and even though I don't have the console yet, I still got some Wii U action in during their hands on events!
