Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Microsoft/Rare, We want Conker! (Adult content)

Without Chris Seavor (now working at his own company) being in change of everything, there is simply no way that a sequel would live up to the Conker name. Pretty much all key Conker developers (except Robin Beinland, but he seems to do nothing but compose music these days) have left by now, so what you would get would most likely be less than another Nuts & Bolts.

Additionally, the series never broke 800k. Even if the current Rare was able to make a decent sequel there's no way Microsoft would invest a lot (if anything) into a making the game happen.

Sounds grim, yes. But I find comfort in knowing that Seavor is determined to expand his company. Who knows, one day he may have enough resources to make a spiritual successor.

I think it's banjo and conker at gamescom.

The minds behind conker aren't at rare anymore. No, just no.

But the IP is :)

They just have to take a look at Conker Live and Reloaded and Banjo XBLA remakes to get some inspiration.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Exactly

They still made viva piñata and the banjo nuts and boltz. they were both quality games but not what we wanted.

Banjo NnB was an excellent game for people who liked building and designing stuff for racing and puzzles. It was a really clever game. But I want a banjo threeie , new conker or new ip.

i would buy the xbox one if either titles arrive, Banjo Kazooie has to be a tradition BK game, bot nuts and bolts.
