Without Chris Seavor (now working at his own company) being in change of everything, there is simply no way that a sequel would live up to the Conker name. Pretty much all key Conker developers (except Robin Beinland, but he seems to do nothing but compose music these days) have left by now, so what you would get would most likely be less than another Nuts & Bolts.

Additionally, the series never broke 800k. Even if the current Rare was able to make a decent sequel there's no way Microsoft would invest a lot (if anything) into a making the game happen.



Sounds grim, yes. But I find comfort in knowing that Seavor is determined to expand his company. Who knows, one day he may have enough resources to make a spiritual successor.
