Forums - Gaming - Why Do Some Users Post Negative News Only For A Company That They Dont Even Play Games From?

Any doom Wii U threads posted by a person with an "i love Sony" avatar, will be avoided by myself in the future.

@OP

Psssst. It's called "Trolling", and "Fanboyism". That's really all that needs to be said.

Why does it matter whether someone only posts positive or negative news? news is news and on the whole both sides get covered and it is irrelevant who posts it (unless they are twisting the post with inflammatory headings and comments).

They always spin it.

They have nothing better to do in their lives.

I can't stand it either. And, it goes beyond just posting factual negative articles that are out there just to rub it in against a particular fanbase. Some people go out of there way to post to post the negative bs articles they find with the excuse, "Hey, I didn't write it. I'm just posting it." I think if you are going to put something out there like that, you have an inherent responsiblity to at the very least check on your source material. If it takes me the same amount of time to check and disprove your source material that it took the person to copy and post it on this site, it had no business being posted in the first place. I have seen this, and can cite a very specific example. Anyway, I have to believe that this type of person gets up in the morning unhappy with themselves, and so they go about their day spreading misery onto every once they can thinking it will make them feel better.

Oh, I know who you are talking about...

Who?

You must tell us, we all want to know!

... I digress.

I've noticed this as I'm sure everyone else has. But, it's nothing new. Nor does it really need to be talked about. (Especially since it isn't going away!) However, I do agree that it can get out of hand at times. Like nearly everything.
