Forums - Sony - MGSV - Gray Fox as fake Big Boss?!

It can't be Solidus. He was created in 1972.

But accelerated age-ing! Solidus was like two or three times the age of Solid in MGS2 despite being made a bit later than Solid & Liquid.

Either way: I do believe in a body double theory. Grey Fox, Solidus, Vapor Snake, Decoy Octopus, whatever! I have no idea of who'm but there has to be one :>

The small window of time isn't possible. I mean, you don't age that fast, not even with the accelerated age-ing (And especially not since there's another character who's presumably Liquid and he looks like a kid). It took five years for Snake to go from an adult to an old man, and remember, he had not experienced any accelerated age-ing thing until that moment. So he was raised like a child and then became an adult like the rest of us.

It's almost the same with Solidus. It can't be him. And I'm not buying the eye-patch thing.

But what if Solidus was created from the get-go to be the same age as Big Boss. I get that it's pretty unrealistic but MGS isn't exactly realistic.

We know that Solid and Liquid were carried by Eva but maybe Solidus was like.. made in some tube xD. Solidus could've been grown from the moment he was created. It's not like we know anything on his past in that regard.

He was apparantly like 37 when he died but his body seems more like Big Boss' in MGS4 which is 79. He clearly aged even faster than Solid.

So assuming he was made in 1972 and starting at the age of Big Boss at the time which is around his 40's => That would make 1972 + 40s = ~2012 and MGS2 plays out in 2009 so it works. Basically at age 1, he was already 40 years in appearance. Like I said, its unrealistic but its.. MGS lol.

"The creation of the original clones led to Big Boss's departure from the Patriots. Thus, the organization required a perfect clone in order to retain a figurehead for their organization in the image of Big Boss."

As well as the fact that on the wiki atleast: There is nothing from Solidus between 1980s to 2001. Phantom Pain taking a part between 1975/84. Former probably being the Ground Zeroes part setting up the whole coma stuff and the latter being the clone (Solidus/Grey Fox/whoever).

I dunno, could be anyone but its possible, I think.

I was thinking, and I'm still not sure about it, but what if it is Solidus Snake and the child from the video - Elli or whatever - is Solidus' adopted son, Jack?

Raiden despised his past, too. And he was found during a civil war, fighting alongside other child soldiers. And the video you submitted had all them wearing the same collars.

A fake Big Boss would explain why the fuck is he missing an arm.

I could bet he still has his arm,  it is just a representation of what is actually happening to Big Boss.   He has a metal shard in the brain, right side of the brain; that part controls the left part of the body.   So His brain is damaged due to that, but is recovering as time passes, so he gains control of his arm, and that is represented by having a better "prosthetic arm" as time passes.

Kojima loves to troll, so I think my theory has some truth in it.

Then how come he wasn't limbless in The Phantom Pain and he was recovering each limb of his body when he was able to use it? No, he had his arm missing from the start. With your theory, he should have a prostetic left torso and left leg too.

That is the perspective of BigBoss.  He cant move that arm; and it is represented as "no arm"; because that is how Big Boss feels.   Really simple.

Raiden has silver hair; and also he woud be younger.
