A fresh take on surround audio
As a virtual puppet show, Puppeteer makes interestingly extensive use of surround-capable audio systems. With the game playing on a 2D plane it wouldn't make sense to use the rear channels for audio relating to the on-screen visuals. Instead, the team puts the rear channels to use in the form of a virtual audience watching you play.
You'll hear gasps from the audience as you make a tricky jump and chuckles as the rafters crumble beneath your feet. Failing to move your character slowly increases the rear channel activity as the audience seemingly becomes bored with your lack of action. After a solid minute of waiting, the sound of the crowd leaving the theatre and talking amongst themselves almost drowns out the game's soundtrack. It's a neat touch that adds an extra dimension to the experience.
Seems like the audio helps a lot in the experience.
Has sony confirmed if the demo will be available to westerns ?
It's a shame the demo was only released in the japanese PSN so far.

I will try to download the demo this monday... I think it will not too hard to play this game in Japanese.

I have to agree with you whole heartedily. I already got it preordered.

Anything in Japanese is imposible for me.
Post your impressions about the game after trying it.
I'm more excited for Puppeteer than Beyond: Two Souls.
The game looks hella fun!!
This game is going to be a slow burner. Its only going to do like 40k - 50k 1st week. Its being released around the holidays so i think this game has a chance. I hope this game breaks atleast 400k while still being at 40$. I want this game to turn into a franchise. Gavin Moore said that he would make another Puppeteer if it sells decent enough.
I want Sony to push this game when it launches but asking Sony to advertise their own games is like asking a hungry, wild wolf to let the bunny with the broken leg pass by unharmed.
Sly Cooper was another slow burner that should've been released around the holiday season.
R&C is a slow burner and ACIT only did like 98k 1st week.
So be prepared for the lower sales at the start.
I know the budget for this game isn't that big so i hope it sells enough at 40$ because i want another installment on PS4

This will be the highest rated game of the generation. BELIEVE!
