Forums - Gaming - What Games Have Made You Cry?

No game has ever made me cry. What's funny is that every Pokémon movie I watch makes me cry in the end...

The ending of FF X was pretty sad, but I didn't cry.

I'm playing tomb raider at the moment. I'm on summit forest and a couple parts made me sad,but not almost cry.

No game has made me cry yet.

Many have moved me, but never to the point of tears.

I cry quite easily at movies, however. King Kong '05, ET, The Land Before Time, all got me teary.

This movie will make you cry again if you find out what happened to duckies voice actor, yes it will, yup yup yup.

OH COME THE FUCK ON! THAT JUST DESTROYED MY EVENING!

My son and I just finished watching that yesterday...

you have to wonder what is going on in some peoples heads when they do things like this, terrifying that a human being is capable of such a thing.

Reading about the history of abuse. It wouldn't have had such an impact on me if I didn't have a toddler and one on the way.

I also cried to the end of Galaxy Express 999. God, that anime rocked my young mind. I think I was 13 at the time when I finally saw it.

Yeah, I guess I'm in the camp of people who can cry at movies but hasn't really cried because of a game. I've been emotionally involved in some of them, but maybe the fact that they're digital doesn't quite let me get to that point. Or maybe the fact that most games I've played didn't have voice acting made it a bit harder to be fully immersed. And while there are some amazingly crafted games out there, the focus is usually mostly on the gameplay and not the story, so it's rare to get a game that touches me in quite the same way a movie can. I know they've got massive potential in the right hands, though. I mean, you're with these characters for way more than two hours. An amazing game can be so much more satisfying than an amazing movie.

But come on, who DIDN'T cry when Littlefoot's mom died?

"Do you know the way to the Great Valley?"

That shit DESTROYS me.

Currently playing:

Bloodbath Paddy Wagon Ultra 9

didn't cry but rather had tears in my eyes from:

Heavy Rain (Emotional decisions)
The Last of Us ( how characters evolved)
God of War III ( some emotional scenes)
Metal Gear Solid 4 ( heart pounding scenes throughout the game)
Heavenly Sward ( the end was just sad!)

Have you seen the original Grave of the fireflies? in terms of anime that movie destroyed me, moreso the second time around because the start of the movie is the end... if that makes sense, if you've not seen it watch it then watch the start again.... and bawl your eyes out.

I have not but considered that watched. What did you think of Galaxy Express? I'll watch Grave of the Fireflies tonight. I also heard Elfen lied was outright painfully sad.
