Forums - Sony - Critter Crunch and Everyday Shooter on sale for .99 cents each (and why I think Shuhei Yoshida is awesome.)

In NA stores, these two games are up for sale for less than 1 dollar...you lucky, lucky sods. Critter Crunch is an amazing game.

Co-incidentally, this only came to my attention because Shuhei Yoshida (@Yosp) tweeted it.

It always strikes me as weird just how into his games this guy is. For one thing, his desire to try to shine light to games that no one has either heard about or even care about is admirable. Granted, the cynics will say "Duh, he's just tryiing to get people to buy his machines" Obviously he could do that with games like the Last of Us, but yet, more often than not, you see him talking about ps Mobile games, Vita games that even the most fanboy'd Vita fans I don't care about.

I personally just think it's a nice thing to see regardless of the motive behind it.

Imagine if you made a game and tried to sell it on a console and the world looks at your work and shoots their nose at it because it's not considered "AAA". But then comes this guy to champion your work...I'd imagine it would be some kind of an honour, but that's just me rambling.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

Around the Network

I haven't played Everyday Shooter but Critter Crunch is a lot of fun. Capybara needs to make more games.

Yoshida is the person in gaming I respect the most. I think he's a guy who genuinely respects the hobby and isn't just a suit looking to make a lot of money.
