You really watch direct-to-video films? Wow. I used to think no one watched them, until I started ordering for a video rental store. Direct-to-video releases were HUGE for us. They easily kept up with all but the biggest blockbusters. Segal, Van Damme, and Jet Li were the biggest, along with random rappers. Awful horror movies also rented well. Meanwhile, anything that said "film festival winner" had people running away screaming.

Random fact: our most consistent best-renter was Leprechaun in the Hood.
