Wonder if it's still an exclusive

To my knowledge, wasn't an exclusivity agreement signed for this game?

Probably, similar to what L.A. Noire was at first. I suppose similar outcome, if this game ever launches, that is.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Wasn't the reason they got Agent the fact that they lost L.A. Noire?

I don't remember the repercusions really. I thought it was a funding issue, since Sony invested "only" 20million  in the game and it ended up costing several times that number.

Now if I recall correctly (but I'm talking off my head) when the exclusivity deal went down, Sony ended up with exclusive DLCs for both RDR and L.A. Noire instead. I believe Agent was a game announced before L.A. Noire so you would be wrong, but then again I may be making up stuff. I bet it is searchable though.

I looked it up and Agent was first mentioned in July 2007 as an unnamed PS3 exclusive, one month after L.A. Noire was first said to be multiplatform. It wasn't named until 2009, so it looks like it was seen as the replacement to L.A. Noire for at least these two years.

It could have become the bonus missions for RDR and L.A. Noire, but these missions became multiplatorm in the end anyway so it would seen to be a pretty bad deal.
