It's really amazing how much MS increased sales this gen over the previous one. It's really the stand out story of this generation.

Good job! But its a known fact now that the PS3 is ahead.
I think 90 million units sold is looking possible for the 360 now, which is pretty impressive.

It's not fact until Sony reveal there numbers and make a big fuss over it ;) (and you can bet they will, look at MS and overtaking Wii in UK)

Yeah that's true. But would they make a big fuss over it? Its just 2nd place.

Yeah that's true. But would they make a big fuss over it? Its just 2nd place. 

I would think so yeah, and given MS have recently said they're going for 100 million, PS3 will obviously do more than that or at least be aiming for more than that, thus overtaking Wii and taking first, why the hell would they not gloat about that.

I know right? Relative to the Xbox1 (not to be confused with Xbox One) 360 has done terribly in North America.

Gen on gen growth has 360 at:

North America: 280% growth

Europe: 340% growth

Japan: 310% growth

Rest of World: 648% growth!

North America has shunned the Xbox 360 something bad! America you should be ashamed of yourself.

Maybe I get your post wrong, but:

This is for 3 months, 1st April 2013 --> 30th June 2013: 1 million consoles sold.
It has done 10 million for the past 12 months. 1st July 2012 --> 30th June 2013: 10 million consoles sold.

You I like.  Great work with the numbers showing how much it has grown this generation.  Wow, clearly the rest of the world does love the Xbox 360 more than North America. I

I have an idea, I will propose the most perfect North American game ever. Perhaps if they make a game that combines Barney with Master Chief they can get some support in North America?  Now if there was only a way to combine Footballs (Both kinds) and Hockey, it would be the game of all games.

One Game to Conqueror them all!

 



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
