It's called a comparison. Something done all over the internet. I don't get why people still complain about it.
Although, I agree that he could've at least regarded GT5's 100k number in some sort of other way... positively, maybe.

ethomaz has derailed several threads just to point out how unimpressive Halo 4 online activity is, yet its much more active than GT5.
The Halo 3 and Reach online community might also be more active. So i thought I'd share that.

Yeah I know... I mean, maybe this is just me coming from a PC gamer perspective, but I would of thought this number would of been WAY higher.
I mean it's essnetially the defining racing game for the generation and one of the few mega console mega guns.
Age really shouldn't matter since there isn't a better shooter out there. At least, age doesn't really seem to matter on PC. Maybe consoles it's different because their aren't as many dedicated hardcore game gamers.

Here's something that should be taken into consideration. The article didn't say 100K are playing GT5 online. It said 100K people log in every day. A log in may just be someone playing GT5 with their console online.
You're comparing people playing Halo 4 online to GT5 log ins.
For example, when MS posts Live activity. That list simply shows games people are playing while logged in. It doesn't show what games people are actually playing online.
