Speaking of TitanFall, i love it xD Been playing it for the last few hours. With TF and PvZ out so close ive had a ton of fun with multuplayer recently.

I have noticed on thing though, most of the games ive got this gen are from EA. EA has done really well so far.

EA always delivered. People have been riding the hate wagon too much.

Its just gamers being gamers as usual.  I honestly find a lot of the game community to be some of the most entitled whiny people.

I was wrong though, most of my games are MSFT published.  KI, Ryse, Forza, Max, and Halo SA.  PvZ, TitanFall, and BF4 from EA.  So it is all MSFT and EA for me right now. But most of my retail games are EA.

So, what do you guys think about Valve's upcoming Steam Machines? If you're unfamiliar with them, they're basically console form-factor PC's for your living room that run Valve's Linux-based Steam OS. As far as I know only 3 of the 13 Steam Machine partners have announced Steam Machines designed to compete with the PS4 and Xbox One; Alienware, CyberPowerPC, and iBuyPower.

Are any of you guys considering getting a Steam Machine? If so, which of the 3 do you plan to get, or do you plan to build your own Steam Machine or buy one of the more expensive options from another Steam Machine partner?

Im happy with my PC, but they look nice.  I honestly dont think Steam Machines are going to take off that well.

Good discussion to be had their Jay. Of all the XB1 games you have what are the publishers of said games?

for me

Microsoft: 3 (Killer Instinct, Dead Rising 3, Zoo Tycoon)
EA: 2 (Peggle 2, Plants Vs Zombies)
Ubisoft: 1 (Rayman Legends)

I'll get a steam machine if they come down in price over time like consoles. Otherwise I'm good with Xbox One and PS4 for now.

So far the only games I own for my X1 are Titanfall and Plants vs Zombies. Plus I plan on downloading Peggle 2 and using my 25 dollars off coupon at Gamestop to pick up Need for Speed Rivals. EA's definitely putting out things that I want to play n_n

To be fair, they usually do anyway. I've never been on the lets all hate EA bandwagon.

Been playing titanfall... Damn it's good. I wish I got to keep my unlocks from the beta though, people are lvl 40+ already!!

Servers are working well for Aussies, not sure what Ethomaz was on about yesterday.

So, any UFC fans here besides me and Slade6alpha? If so, are you considering getting EA Sports UFC?

Some details about the game:

-Roughly 100 fighters from all weight classes.
-Fighters are captured in realistic detail via a state of the art scanning system. The Scanning system has also been used to capture unique facial expressions and reactions for each fighter.
-Full body deformation.
-Improved AI that can supposedly better adapt to player strategy changes during fights. The AI is supposedly aware of their surroundings and can use the Octagon to their advantage.
-Characters bodies have been recreated in perfect scale, meaning that reach advantages will be realistic.
-One face button per limb for striking. Left Bumper is a power strike, right bumper is an acrobatic strike. Right stick is used for auto-blocking which works about 50% of the time, to block attacks with higher success you'll need to either use right trigger + your arm leg buttons for high/low strikes, and to dodge attacks you'll need to use right trigger + left stick movement. Grappling is tied to the right stick. There is no run button like in Undisputed 3.
-There is a create-a-fighter system and it is supposedly pretty detailed.
-About 10 developers on the gameplay and animation have been training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu for the last 20 months in order to make the grappling in the game as realistic as possible. They even flew in Kron Gracie to give the development team a seminar on BJJ.
-There will be online multiplayer.
-There should be a gameplay trailer in the next few weeks.
-There will possibly be a demo available for download.
-The release window is Spring 2014, and a developer has ruled out April and May, which suggests a June release.

I want to at least rent it, but I am kind of concerned about the roster, so far my top 2 favorites haven't been confirmed.

I'm definitely interested. The THQ Undisputed games were really fun. A poster pointed this out, it doesn't matter how good it looks unless the gameplay is solid. Not sure if you played UFC Supremacy? Something like that EA published it and it played pretty badly. I just hope it plays somewhat like the Undisputed games and not MMA Supremacy, or whatever that was. The demo would be nice.

It's looking pretty fantastic though. But yet again... it's still EA and that's a wild card for me in terms of faith.
