Yes towerfall works without a connection. It doesn't even have online play.

Many have mentioned it, forgot which one said something like "COD has more value with being able to play offline" (Paraphrasing)

I think that's more about the lack of a traditional sp campaign though.

Yeah im going to agree with Fusion on this.  I know some of you guys are prob angry with the constant trolling and downplaying but lets try and not generalize the whole fanbase because just like every fanbase there is good and bad users.
