UPDATED: Xbox One to get another system update preview soon, says Microsoft

Xbox One’s March system update is rolling out now, but it might not be long before users can sample the next one, according to Microsoft.

We reported on the Xbox One March update yesterday, and you’ll find a full breakdown of all the new features here.

UPDATE: Over on the Xbox Newswire, Microsoft’s Marc Whitten discussed new updates that should come in future Xbox One updates.

We know external hard drive storage is another big one on your list,” he stressed. “It’s on our list too. We’re working on that for a future update and will keep you posted. We’re also working on friends notification improvements and experimenting with how to make that better.

“Just as we do with Xbox 360, we’ll be continuing regular updates to Xbox One – some will be big, like this March update, and some will be smaller. Big or small, we’re committed to delivering continuous innovation through system updates like this one. Thanks for your feedback.”

ORIGINAL STORY: On the Xbox One preview update forum, Reddit user KAM7spotted a response form Microsoft on the matter.

It read:

“Q. When will we get another update to preview?

A. We’re still working on the exact date, and will let you know when as soon as we can, along with what changes will be present in the new build. But it will be SOON!”

It’s unclear what Microsoft intends to include in the next update, but what would you like to see?

Loll =P Damnn is right!!! Arrow keeps getting better and better. I can't wait until we finally get the fight between Deathstroke and Green Arrow. I hope they go all out for that one. I just posted in one of the Batman threads earlier that I wish Rocksteady would move on after this next Batman game to make a Green Arrow game. The character is finally getting some serious mainstream exposure so the timing is perfect. I don't want a reskinned Batman game or anything. I just think they would handle the IP perfectly. Take what they learned combat wise with the Arkham series and create a signature style for Green Arrow. Maybe make him a little more nimble and give him some free-running mechanics. WB will probably move them onto something Justice League related though.

Arrow is awesome. I have no idea how all of what is going on in that trailer could possibly be in 1 episode.

What? Really?

Not true slade6 is not the only one to give a free game in nation... Ryuu did it a few weeks and gave away fifa14 for Xbox one... I know I was the lucky one

and some one gave away a code for MS splosion and two free show episodes on the MS forum a few days ago...

same here if I ever get stuff I don't use I'll pass it on around here...
