Nintendo wiiu+zelda or mario is at the same price as ps4 in my country. I think it is a really bad move. In india nintendo is not in a strong position and nobody talks about it in my country and only a handful of them own which I know. 3ds is selling a little bit well. But how will wii u sell when it is at a price equal to ps4. This makes me concerned for xbox one because it is 100$ more in us and how much will it be more in india.
To put in perspective.
1$=rs62(Rs is Indian currency)
400$ ps4=25000rs estimated
now how much does it costs=40000 nearly double
ratio is 1.6
Xbox one
500$=31500
this makes xbox one available at 52000rs nearly looking at price it is very expensive from a Indian standpoint I can afford my friends can also but they are many who cannot. Microsoft is not as strong as sony in India but definetely in a better position than nintendo. Even a unlocked iphone 5s costs less than xbox one if the above price comes out to be true. All high end smarthphones are cheaper.
I can even get a decent pc with that money.
There are laptops having specs
8gb ram
750gb hard disk
Intel i5 2.6-2.8ghz
2gb nvidia graphic card
Play all games with decent graphics.
Even alienware x51 base model is at the same price.
Microsoft please keep the price low so xbox owners can play xbox one at a cost which does not hurts our pocket.
Edit: Many features like voice command are not available in India(for xbox 360) so they might not be available for xbox one but they might be available because you know microsoft is advertising like voice is new controller for xbox so they might make it available.
Tv functionality which I think has very less chances of happening. Other apps like netflix, hulu, hbo, xbox music not available in India this maeks me think how will microsoft will be able to sell xbox one in india with all those lacking features&apps. Why would people buy an expensive console. People leaving in other countries have apps for movie streaming, music streaming but in India they are not available why would people buy microsoft will have a tough time selling xbox one in India. I hope microsoft has some surprises for us
