After Ken Levine's announcement that Irrational, the studio behind Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite, is being wound down, Microsoft has said that they are trying to contact the affected developers to try and bring them over to Microsoft studios.
In reply to a tweet asking if Microsoft was reaching out to Irrational developers who would be effected by the closure with a view to bringing them to 343 Industries or Black Tusk, Microsoft's Phil Spencer simply said, "we are".
Hopefully, this is a sign that those who face the prospect of soon being unemployed as a result of the Irrational closure won't find themselves out of work for too long and can put their talent to use elsewhere, perhaps working on titles for the Xbox One.
While the team that's at Irrational now is very different to the one that shipped the original Bioshock, you would imagine that the success of Bioshock Infinite would be enough to make the talent at Irrational desirable to the likes of Microsoft.
